Our Pastor’s Sermon about How to Respond to Fears and Anger in Last Days

My family did not get to make it to church last Wednesday, October 15, 2014. We tried to live stream the service but our computer just kept buffering, no matter what browser we tried to use.

The next morning is when I felt so led to share a couple of videos with you about not being afraid in these last days as we face so many serious health threats, increasing persecution in the world of believers in Jesus Christ and an alarming increase in evil, violence and wickedness.

I saw later on in the evening on Thursday that our church had posted the video of Pastor Kevin’s sermon on the Facebook page. I watched part of it Thursday night and the rest of it this morning. That is why I am adding these comments to the link for the sermon. I feel like this is confirmation of what the Lord is speaking to His followers and to those who love Him and listen to His voice. Please listen to Jesus and please do not be afraid or act out of fear or anger. The Bible does tell us to be angry but to sin not. The Bible tells us to not let the sun go down on our anger. Jesus tells us to love others as He loves us. Please take the advice of Pastor Kevin as he encourages us as the Bride of Christ and as His Church to guard our hearts and minds and to have the attitude and mindset of love – the love of Jesus – not only for each other but also for the lost.

Those who are acting out of what we see as being completely wrong or misguided are loved by Jesus. He is holding His arms out open wide and willing to receive those who want to repent from following their own ways and want to follow Him. Jesus came not to condemn but to redeem, to reconcile the lost to His Father, to forgive, to heal and to set the captives free. This is a spiritual battle and not one of flesh and blood. Our true enemy is not the person that is acting out, but the one who is called the accuser and the father of lies and the one who is like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour.

I’ll stop my own sermonette here and just encourage you to watch Pastor Kevin’s sermon and really listen to his heart on this. He can deliver the message far better than I. 🙂 ❤ God bless you and keep you in Jesus’ name.

This blog is for anyone who wants to know more about Jesus and His love and how faith in Him plays out in real life application. Hello, we are Jerry and Angela and we are two fools for Christ. We have decided to make our lives totally surrendered to Jesus in response to His love and His gift of salvation. We are in our early 40′s and we have two children together and [Angela has] an older daughter that is now an adult. We have been married to each other for going on ten years. We surrendered our lives to the Lord together in 2010 and have been growing in that relationship with Him and each other since that time. We both accepted salvation and made professions of faith earlier in our lives, but did not make Him Lord and Savior until 2010. At that time we realized that trying to walk in our own strength and our own ways was useless and empty and had led us to another rock bottom experience. We humbly turned our lives over to Jesus and have been seeking Him with all that we are ever since. That does not mean that we have become perfect. That does not mean that we have not sinned again. That does not mean that we have not had trouble or trials or storms since that time. What this means is that we are growing, we are learning, we are becoming more loving and compassionate and forgiving. We want to share our faith with our readers. We want to share our growth process and transformation with you. We wish to encourage you and lift you.
